About Meanify
What does Meanify do?
Meanify is an AI engineering company based in Évora, Portugal. Our Forward Deployed Engineers use AI-accelerated development to build software, AI automation, multi-agent systems, data pipelines and governance, and small physical AI projects, with a human reviewing every step.
Where is Meanify based?
At ÉvoraTech, in Évora, Portugal. We work with clients across Portugal and Europe, remotely and on site.
Which languages do you work in?
English and Portuguese.
Do you work with small companies?
Yes. Many of our projects start small, such as one automation, one pilot or one engineer embedded in your team, and grow once they have proven their value.
AI and quality
What is a Forward Deployed Engineer?
A Forward Deployed Engineer is a software engineer who works directly inside a client's team, close to the users and the problem, instead of building in isolation. At Meanify, our Forward Deployed Engineers also bring validated AI workflows that speed up delivery.
What does "human in the loop" mean?
It means a person reviews and approves the work at defined points. At Meanify, an engineer reviews every AI-assisted change, automated tests check it, and you approve every delivery.
Is AI-written code safe to use in production?
Only when it is reviewed and tested. An engineer reviews every AI-assisted change, and it must pass automated tests before it is merged. AI speeds up the work; engineers stay responsible for the result.
How much faster and cheaper is AI-accelerated development?
It depends on the project. AI shortens repetitive work such as boilerplate code, tests and documentation, so projects usually need fewer hours. We estimate each project after a short discovery.
Data and security
Is our data used to train AI models?
No. We use AI services and settings that do not train on client data, and we can use EU-hosted or on-premise models when required.
Do you comply with the GDPR?
Yes. We follow the GDPR in our own work and design client systems with data protection built in: access control, data minimisation and retention rules.
Can you help with the EU AI Act?
Yes. We help you understand which EU AI Act obligations apply to your systems and build in the documentation, transparency and human oversight they require.
Working together
How does a project start?
With a conversation. Send us a message on WhatsApp, an email or call us. We then run a short discovery and send you a proposal with scope, timeline and price.
Who owns the code and intellectual property?
You do. Everything we build lives in your systems and is handed over with documentation.
Do you provide support after delivery?
Yes. We offer support and maintenance after go-live, and we hand over documentation so your own team can maintain the system too.
How do you charge?
It depends on the project: a fixed price for a well-defined scope, or a monthly engagement for Forward Deployed Engineers embedded in your team.
